On June 4th, the new non-profit education organization Your Canada, Your Constitution (YCYC) will launch with a free luncheon and afternoon conference addressing key issues concerning Canada’s Constitution, and a free evening reception to celebrate the beginning of YCYC’s national education efforts.

"Democratizing the Constitution: Reforming Responsible Government" is a new book by Peter Aucoin, Mark D. Jarvis and Lori Turnbull. It explores Canada's tradition of responsible government and makes the case that the Canadian constitution and its unwritten conventions have failed to provide effective limits on a prime minister's power, and that such powers must be restored to elected representatives in Parliament.
