2017 EPC Nominee: Bibi Hakim

Bibi Saleema Hakim EPC

Bibi Hakim of Ottawa, ON, was nominated by Jillian LeBlanc

Bibi Saleema Hakim is a student in the Joint Honours Political Science and Public Administrations program at the University of Ottawa. As an active volunteer both in Toronto and Ottawa and an advocate for mental health, Bibi, initiated the #thelinesproject at her high school to break the silence around mental health stigma. With this project she made room to open the conversations about mental health. Being a recent Duke of Edinburgh’s gold recipient, she has aspirations to one day be a politician – hopefully, Prime Minister. She can be found volunteering at many civic engagement organizations and always offering a helping hand to others.
