Book Criteria
The Best Canadian Political Books of the Last 25 Years will acknowledge books that have captured the Canadian political imagination and that contribute, in a compelling and unique way, to how Canadians understand a political issue, event or personality.
- All genres are eligible, including personal or journalistic essay, memoir, commentary and criticism (both social and political), history, biography, and fiction
- Content should be about Canada, with special consideration for books that have shaped and influenced the course of Canadian political life
- Can be in either French or English
- Must be published since 1986
