2017 EPC Nominee: Jackson Muskego

Jackson EPC

Jackson Muskego of Bunibonibee Cree Nation, MB, was nominated by Jonathan Perron-Clow

Jackson Muskego works tirelessly on behalf of the youth of Bunibonibee Cree Nation since participating in the Forum for Young Canadians and Activate programs where he got some of the tools to put meaningful programming and daily events in place for youth: activity nights, healing sessions, dances, discussion groups and workshops about mental health, suicide, crisis and life skills.

He also advocates on behalf of the youth for their share of resources so they can be a proud and active next generation in their community. His biggest wish is to make Bunibonibee a better place for youth, where they can heal and express themselves. His positive attitude makes his community a better place and will mean a better present and future for the youth. Oh, and he’s only 20.
