YasminEPC

Yasmin Rajabi of Ajax, ON, was nominated by Arezoo Najibzadeh

Yasmin Rajabi is one of the most inspiring young women I know. She has managed to empower so many young women through her advocacy for young women’s leadership and meaningful participation in civic life.

For the past decade, Yasmin has focused her efforts on enabling young women and girls to take on active roles within their communities, first at YWCA Girls Council & Plan Canada’s Because I am a Girl Speakers Bureau, and now as the co-founder of Young Women’s Leadership Network, a youth-led initiative aimed at increasing young women’s leadership capacity in politics.

Yasmin is expected to graduate from the Public Policy & City Studies student program at the University of Toronto this year.
