Chole Vargas EPC

Chole Vargas of Aurora, ON, was nominated by Norma Trivino

Chole Vargas demonstrates inclusiveness by working to build a community where everyone feels included, empowered and valued for his or her unique contributions. He has a diverse group of people volunteering with him to put together the magazine and he makes sure everyone involved in the production is a group of people from diverse non-Hispanic backgrounds. Chole Vargas demonstrates perseverance by not giving up when things got tough prior to launching his magazine. Armed with only a small amount of cash and a big vision, he encountered multiple obstacles, yet, he persisted with the goal of getting his unique magazine into the market and worked hard despite challenges.
